Our Story

Social upliftment is at the heart of everything we do. The pandemic and its devastating impact on people across the world, especially those who did not have any monetary backups was witnessed by us all. Many of us tried to do what they could to alleviate the problem. On our part, we decided to create a business that would set-up a channel for earning a livelihood for those who are far from progressive cities, dealing with life’s challenges with limited, if any, resources.

Divyam is an initiative to engage the womenfolk of remote villages in Uttarakhand, collecting the abundant natural spices available in nature’s bounty and preparing them with stringent hygienic methods for markets across the country.

The promoters spearheading this project are associated with Divya Prem Sewa Mission, working humbly towards creating a conducive and progressive environment where education and opportunities are available to all.

FAQ

Ideally, all spices should be stored in dry, air-tight containers. Glass jars are ideal. For longer shelf life, store whole and ground spices away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight.

Storing herbs and spices in the fridge prevents loss of colour. However, moisture can get trapped in the spices.

If stored properly in dry, air-tight containers, whole spices can last for a year and a half to two years and ground spices can last for a year or a year and a half.

Food regulatory departments give a permissible limit. Usage within this limit is not harmful as preservatives are used to ensure a longer shelf life of a product. In case you have any allergic problem, you must read the ingredients list and allergen advice for the specific allergen cause. Our product labels contain the complete information about all the possible allergens.
